A streak is not effort.

Five minutes a day for 850 days is 70 hours. An hour a day is 850. Both look like a perfect streak. ClockSetup measures the hours.

Every habit app rewards turning up. This one scores the day itself — the time on the clock, how much of your own list you finished, and whether you have the paper to prove it.

What a day costs you

Ninety seconds, once a day.

Put the minutes on the clockThe time you actually worked, against the time you promised. That ratio is the ceiling on everything else the day can score.
Tick what you actually didA checklist you wrote yourself, that morning. Half-done is a real answer and scores like one.
Photograph the paperWrite the list out by hand and photograph it. Nobody can tell from the photo which hand you used — that one is on you, and the harder hand scores more.

Who this is for

People in the middle of one hard thing with a deadline three months to a year out, who already keep some kind of log and are tired of it flattering them.

What it will not do

  • Let you fill in last week. Today, and yesterday if you are not on Strict. A record you can back-fill is not a record.
  • Hide the gaps. They sit in the calendar and the ledger in red, and they cost the score twice.
  • Congratulate you for a thin day. Under half your minutes and the streak breaks, however many days came before it.
